Baking Gingerbread in January?!

Other years, we end up making our Gingerbread House after Christmas (we've even been as late as March Break).  This year we made our gingerbread men in January.  The weeks leading up to Christmas are always soooo busy, so we like to spill some of these activities into the new year.

I forgot to take pictures of the fully baked and decorated cookies but I can tell you....they did a great job and were delicious!

 

SNOW FUN

Snow Much Fun!

 

The kids went outside with Papa one late Sunday afternoon.  The snow was perfect packing snow.

Cassandra built a snowman, with a little help from Samantha and Papa.

 

 

Zachary decided to build a fort...with a little help from the others...

Breanna decided to build a hunk of a snowman!

 



Sami was enjoying helping the others and sitting on Zachary's fort.

 



The kids helped Papa start this igloo but Papa finished this igloo when the kids were in bed.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but a grown up could stand inside the igloo.  Good job, Papa!
