SWINGIN' CUTENESS

I'm not one for hairbands on my baby girls, because they are too tight and leave awful elastic marks on their heads. BUT....I put on this matching hairband and just had to take some pictures. Samantha....you are such a cutie! (BTW...this is probably one of the last times she was in the swing. Just making note of that for journal purposes!)

EXCITEMENT AT HOME!!

During the first week of August, Bryan came across five baby bunnies when cutting our grass. We put them in a cage to keep them safe from preditors. The kids didn't mind! They were only a tad bit excited!

One JULY afternoon, while the kids were outside playing, and Samantha was napping, I decided to really try out my camera. Here are some of the pictures I took. I know the quality of the pictures need some work...but the pictures still...say it all!!!

SUMMER FUN WITH THE CARM COUSINS

At the beginning of the summer, Karen and I decided that we would like to switch up kids throughout the summer. Sounds great, eh? Well.....it did happen, but not as many times as we thought it would. Things came up....you know...the usual. Karen ended up going to Ethopia, rather suddenly, to bring Denver home. Yeah!!


The kids had a lot of fun together, when it did work out. Maybe next year things will be a bit more "normal" and we can try again!!

I THOUGHT I WAS DONE...

...JULY, but I wasn't!! So, I decided to compile some of my favourites to save some time!

This is a favourite pass time around here. I don't even mind how messy the kitchen gets because it can keep them busy for hours and it's a good activity for the imagination! The trick is to only bring it out sometimes....so it's an exciting thing to do!



Breanna was anxiously waiting for Samantha to be able to fit one of her doll outfits. Well, here you go....introducing...... her doll, Samantha.



I love this picture. The kid's were watching a movie. Breanna was feeding Samantha. Cassandra dressed up in her ballerina costume and my handsome boy, in his favourite hoody...which, by the way, surprised me that he didn't have his hood on (he usually does when he wears this sweatshirt)!
When vacuuming the house, I often attract cuties who like to go for a little ride. Wheeeeee!

ZACHARY'S BIG NEWS

Sunday, July 12th was a big day for Zachary! This was the day Zachary learned how to ride a two wheeler!

We knew he would be ready, but didn't quite realize how ready! It took a couple of tries and off he went and kept going and going! Of course, this was another watery eye moment...for mommy! He was so proud of himself. When he came back to where we were, we got the grin, shoulder shrug, and the hand on the waist. No big deal, eh?

SOME FUN ON A SUMMER AFTERNOON

Breanna and Zachary were catching toads one afternoon. It was cute to watch them through the screen door for awhile. Breanna didn't mind holding them, but didn't like to pick them up. She would get Zachary to pick them up and place them in her hands! Isn't it great to have a brother?!

Inside the house, Cassandra was getting a hair makeover. She asked Papa to put some barrettes in her hair. So, of course, he assisted, and put a few in! :)
