FOLDING THE LAUNDRY

WHO SAYS LAUNDRY ISN'T FUN?

 

Samantha often helps me fold laundry.  On this particular day, she decided to show her creativity.  I think I should take some lessons in making ordinary tasks into a fun activity!

Happy 4th Birthday, Samantha!

Dear Samantha,
I can't believe my baby is already 4!  It makes me laugh when I say that and you are quick to tell me that you are "NOT a baby"!
You amaze me at all the things you do already!  I can tell you have older siblings!
I often refer to you as the "spice" our family needed to be complete!  You are such an independent, sweet, sensitive, funny, energetic girl!  You make me and our family laugh daily! 
I am really enjoying spending time with you while the others are at school.  You are always willing to help me out with many daily activities......vacuuming, baking, setting the table, emptying the cutlery container from the dishwasher, shopping, laundry....
You love to play with others and you are totally fine to play on your own. 
You love to be tickled and often like to play the game STOP/GO.  When you say "GO"....we can tickle you but have to stop when you say "STOP"!  Your giggle is infectious!
Papa and I love you soooo much, and we are so happy that God sent you to complete our family!

11 ALREADY

Happy 11th Birthday, Breanna!

 

 

Dear Breanna,
I look at you and cannot believe that you are 11 already!  It seems like yesterday, when you made your appearance in this world.  I couldn't believe I had a girl!   (After  I grew up with 3 older brothers).
I am so proud of the young person tween (as you so proudly say) you are becoming.  You have such amazing qualities.  You often put others needs in front of your own.  You are sensitive to the needs of others.  You are a friend to many at school.  You have quite the blossoming sense of humour!  I love how artistic you are....always doodling or creating something.  Listening to you play the piano, amazes me.  You are such a natural, and I never tire of listening to the music you play. 
So many changes await you, and I believe you are up for the challenge! 
Papa and I love you soooo much! We thank God that He has blessed us with such an awesome daughter!

THE PERFORMANCE

The Much Anticipated Sunday Afternoon Performance

 

Breanna was quite busy with Cassandra and Samantha on this particular weekend.  They were creating a music video including hand actions and dance moves.  We (Papa, Mommy & Zachary) had the priviledge to watch their performance.  They did an amazing job.  It was so cute!

VALENTINE'S DAY

 

VALENTINE'S DAY....CATCHIN' SOME ZZZZ'S STYLE

Bryan and I don't make a huge deal out of V.D. but we enjoy making it a little special with the kids.  We all make/pick a valentine for everyone else in the family and put it on their plate.  Just before dinner, we take some time to read them.  We drank milk out of wine glasses, had "red sauce" pasta, and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert!  We had a fun V.D. dinner!

Every year the grade one class has a Clown Day.  This year Cassandra could participate! 

She had a super fun day at school!

WHISTLE ANYONE?

 

LEARNING TO WHISTLE

Samantha has been trying to whistle.  She actually did really well on this particular day,

in between her giggles!

My Vacuum Helper

 

Often, when I am vacuuming, I go to pull the vacuum from behind me, and have a little difficulty.  I look back and see that I have a helper, named Samantha, tagging along!
