HAPPY 37TH

Happy 37th birthday to my hubby! Unfortunately, he had to work on his birthday. He had to get a job done but we made plans for the next day!! (Note the extra holes in the cake....the kid's weren't quite sure where the candles should go....but finally were satisfied with this end result). No....I didn't make this cake either!!!

Happy Father's Day!!
Bryan was rudely awaken by 3 hooligans on Father's Day. He actually was sleeping on the couch that night due to a non-sleeping baby in our room! (As you may notice, she was sleeping when these pictures were taken). I realized that I didn't end up taking a picture with just the two of them during the day, so I added one that had been taken around the same date.

They're always proud of the cards they make and can't wait to give them!

Papa's gift...not quite finished though. We need some foot prints on it still.

I took the kids outside to try and at least get one good picture! I needed to get a good one to complete a Father's Day project. I picked the 2nd picture. Although the 3rd picture suits them better!!

Zachary is finished preschool! He had a great year and loved school. I'm not worried about next year at all! He'll love going to and from school on the bus! He'll love staying 3 full days! Where did my baby boy go?

Breanna's last day of school! She had a great year! She has grown in maturity during this school year. She feels more secure with the routines of school. Her report card was excellent! Good work, Breanna!

I often take pictures of the cards Breanna makes because I think they are so neat. I love the ideas, drawings, printing, and spelling! She made a card for her teacher, bus driver, and bus buddy.

Breanna loves to help out with changing Samantha. She will even change diapers....as long as they're only pee diapers though! It's very helpful and fun to watch the interactions! :)

I don't know why this was a favourite pass time for a while. Maybe it was because they were allowed to use their umbrellas for play. Maybe it was because every so often when a big truck went by they'd pump their arm in hopes that the trucker would honk his horn. (It worked sometimes...thanks to London Br*thers!!) (FYI: they're not as close to the road as it looks on some of the pictures!)

Breanna was given a new children's cookbook. She immediately found a recipe she wanted to try. Cookies!! She even made the icing and painted each one individually, making each one unique! She did a great job!

CASSANDRA'S IN LOVE....

Cassandra has a thing for her Opa! Whenever she talks to Oma on the phone...she asks for Opa. Whenever we go to visit, she wants to know if Opa is going to be there! Maybe she knows she was named after him?? :)

Whenever Zachary hears the tractor start up....he's out there in a flash! It's so cute to see!

NOTICE ANYTHING?...

This took place on Saturday, February 28th, 2009. The reason I haven't posted this yet was because Breanna wanted to. Well, we finally finished the entry and here it is....

"Hi, I'm Breanna and just a little bit before my birthday, I got my ears pierced. I picked light blue because it's my birthstone. I don't know when I can get hangy earrings or hoops, but at least I have earrings. It was very exciting. It hurt too....just a little bit. If I know you and you haven't seen them, then maybe I can show you if I can, or you can see the pictures. I tried to wear good dress clothes. Mommy was surprised and excited when she saw them. I went with Grandma and Papa. I wish you can see them in real life, if you haven't yet. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

(Breanna wanted it to be a "surprise" for me. She also wanted to get them done before she turned 7! (One week away!!) They look so pretty on her! Way to go Breanna!!! )

BOYS AFTERNOON OUT

On May 27th, the boys (Bryan and Zachary) went to the car show in Waterd*wn. Zachary was pretty excited to tell me all about the cars he saw. Here are a couple of favourites and a picture of the ride home with his new H*twheels.
