My Little Man is 7!!

I asked Zachary last night, if HE would please stay 6. He informed me that he couldn't. That was the day he was born, so he had to turn 7.

Zachary, I am so happy to experience life with a son!

I love how you like to catch frogs, play soccer, ride your bike...especially your new orange bike! I love watching you on the trampoline. You make your moves look so easy! I chuckle watching you ride the mower Papa fixed up for you. You look so calm and give me a smile when you see me watch you! I love how you save your sisters from spiders or other bugs. You just shrug your shoulders and take care of the job!

I love how you like to be around others in our family. It was always looked at as a punishment to you if I suggested you go play quietly in your room! You love to play with others.

I love watching you with your baby sister. You are just so natural with her.

I love the way you come and cuddle with me, when you see me sit down. Your quiet ways and your adorable little grin, make me smile!

We love you and we are so thankful and proud of you! Happy 7th Birthday Zachary!

Last night...

....I told her she had to stay four years old. This morning she called for me. When I went in her room she gave me a big hug and told me she turned 5 during the night. She was pretty happy it happened anyway!

Cassandra, we couldn't imagine life without you in our family! You are the first to hand out kisses and hugs to those who need them. You always have to kiss mommy and papa before we can leave the house, even if it is only to the garage. Your smile is infectious. The way your eyes light up when you are happy takes my breath away.

I love it when you tell me "I love you with my whole heart".

I love it, when you hear me pull out the baking things and you are immediately at my side asking me what you can do.

You love playing and being included and don't mind just sitting to watch, if that means you can be close to your older brother and sister!

I love the way you can be a girly girl, playing dress up and playing with your dolls or barbies. I love that you can go outside and get dirty, catch frogs with your brother. You love jumping on the trampoline and are getting really good at doing some harder moves.

I love your fun side. For example the following photoshoot. I was trying to take a picture of something else and you said "take some pictures of me mommy". Although your hair needed to be combed, and your mouth was full of food...these are some of my favourite pictures of you. Because it's totally you.

We love you and we thank God that He let us be your parents!

A New School Year Begins...

On Tuesday, September 6th, the kids were ready to go back to school. I woke up at 7am to the sound of breakfast being made. I got up and saw Breanna and Zachary dressed and eating breakfast. They were pretty excited. Breanna is now in grade 4 and Zachary grade 2. How did that happen??!?

Finally, Friday, September 9th arrived! It was Cassandra's first day of kindergarten. It was a long week waiting for HER first day of school. (Half the class had their first day on Wednesday, and the other half had their first day on Friday).

She had a great day!
I should have had the camera ready for after school. When they came home, Samantha went running to them to give them all a hug and told them "I miss you so much"! Adorable!
