Happy Canada Day!
Bryan took the day off and we celebrated together as a family. In the morning, we hung up a new flag in the front of our house which was quite exciting for us. This is something we've been meaning to do and actually made a point of buying one and hanging for Canada Day! (I missed taking pictures that morning as Bryan and the kid's went out to hang it.....blah!)
After lunch, we took the kids for a "surprise". They weren't too sure when we arrived, that this was actually a fun surprise, but as soon as we walked in...they didn't know what to do first!!!
Bouncing castle....only Breanna and Zachary were able to go in....Cassandra was too young.
Cassandra found something else to do....she didn't mind!

I know that there are many pictures for this post. I just couldn't cut it down more than I already did...I loved them all!!
On the way back to the van, the kids told us that it was the best surprise ever!! :) Good for us, because it only cost us $2.00 each for the horse ride. Everything else was free! (not the food....but most of it was very reasonably priced) Can't beat that!!
Unfortunately, my camera took a rest for the evening or I guess I should say... I did. We went to friends of ours for a BBQ (Rob and Wanda's). The kids had a great time, as usual! But later realized that I didn't take any pictures...blah!
Needless to say, the kids were utterly exhausted by the time we got home (late), but it was worth having such a fun day!

Looks like a fun day at Dutch Mill. I saw the sign for it after we left your place on Sunday and was thinking of taking the kids there myself but ended up not doing that.....too bad! Melanie
